Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the Mission Viejo Insulation and Spray Foam website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for a quote or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you schedule.
If a signed estimate or work agreement for your job says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Mission Viejo, CA, working in homes and businesses across Mission Viejo and the cities around it. Our work includes attic insulation, blown-in insulation, spray foam, air sealing, insulation removal, crawl space insulation and vapor barriers. The home page and our About page describe the work in more detail.
The information on this site is general. It doesn't replace an inspection of your house, because what's needed in your attic or crawl space depends on what we find there. We're fully licensed and insured.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free and given on site, with no pressure to book. A quote is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, including the size of the space, the insulation already up there, the material you choose and how much air sealing or removal is needed.
Some conditions only show once the work starts, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, hidden gaps or framing damage. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before doing the extra work.
A written quote is good for the period stated on it. After that, material costs and our schedule may have changed, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, illness or conditions found on an earlier job can push a date, and if that happens we'll call you as early as we can with a new one.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled day, including a clear path to the attic hatch or crawl space entry. If a pet, a locked gate or stored belongings keep us from starting, we may need to reschedule.
Some materials, spray foam in particular, need people and pets to stay out of the house for a set time before they come back. We'll tell you that re-entry time, which is how long you wait before going back inside, before the job, and you agree to follow it.
If you need to cancel or move a job, please call us at (949) 619-8030 as soon as you know. If we've already ordered special materials for your job or turned away other work to hold your date, we may charge for those costs, and your agreement will say so.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or work agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled and may add any late charges your agreement allows under California law.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something we installed isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and look at it, because we'd rather fix it than leave you unhappy.
Beyond that guarantee and anything written in your agreement, we don't make other promises, spoken or implied, about results. How much your power bill changes or how comfortable a room gets depends on things we don't control, such as your heating and cooling system, windows, ductwork and how the house is used.
Where a material carries a manufacturer's warranty, that warranty comes from the manufacturer and follows its terms. The guarantee doesn't cover damage from leaks, pests, other trades, storms or changes made after we leave.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, our liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of a room, higher energy costs or lost income.
Nothing on this page limits liability that California law doesn't allow a business to limit.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call or write to us first, because most issues get sorted out in one conversation and a return visit. If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.
If mediation doesn't resolve it, the dispute will be heard in the state courts in Orange County, California.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version posted when you book a job applies to that job, and changes later on won't apply to work already agreed unless we both sign off on them.
Questions about these terms
If anything here isn't clear, call us at (949) 619-8030 or use our Contact page, and we'll walk you through it before you book.
